Making screen-accurate ‘Star Wars’ costumes isn’t easy

Dawn Bright made her own Kylo Ren costume, based on the Star Wars reboot.  Using the movie trailers, she used a clay mold to create a mock-up of the Kylo Ren helmet.  Then, she sylicone cast and resin cast her own helmet from scratch.  It can take two days to 7 months to make a costume.

First, you must acknowledge that this is not a simple process.  Each layer of the costume requires stitching and perfect placement. It’s all for fun though.
