Imagine a situation: You are working on your tree house. You need to cut a few nails or screws, but you realize that you did not take a metal saw with you.
You could go home to get a metal saw, but that’s means you’ll loose an hour. Time is money!
You do have an ordinary hand saw with you.
Cutting nails with a woodworking handsaw is a horrible idea. You don’t want to damage the teeth. Luckily there is a way to cut nails with a hand saw and don’t damage saw’s teeth.
This “Life hack” was taught to me by my dad. It was late 1950s or early 1960s when he first saw it.
